PROJECT COMPLETE ON-TIME AND UNDER BUDGET!
The Shore Group have been working as Principal Contractor for B&Q in Hedge End, Southampton, for a turnkey project refit.
Working over a period of 4-weeks, works included the installation of a new entry point to the store created for delivery access, new Fast doors, white lining, groundworks including ramp, concrete repairs, Armco barriers, reconfiguration and re-merchandising, fire risk assessment works, building fabric works and electrical works including MHE charging bays.
This project showcased the power of the Group turnkey delivery model, driving cost out and increasing project efficiency for B&Q. The single point of contact from project initiation and de-merchandising, to capital works and re-merchandising improved communication with B&Q Store Support Centre and in-store teams, and reduced customer impact during the works.
