The Challenge Ahead
Members of The Shore Group are gearing up to tackle the formidable 3 Peaks Challenge in support of Turning Tides, a charity dedicated to helping the homeless. This demanding trek covers 22 miles with a 3,050-meter climb over three days, testing our team’s endurance and resilience.
What is the 3 Peaks Challenge?
The 3 Peaks Challenge is one of the UK’s most iconic outdoor adventures, involving the summiting of the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales. Participants will conquer:
- Ben Nevis (1,345 meters) – the highest peak in Scotland and the UK.
- Scafell Pike (978 meters) – the tallest mountain in England.
- Snowdon (1,085 meters) – the highest point in Wales.
This challenge demands physical fitness and determination as participants face varying weather conditions, steep ascents, and limited rest. It’s a true test of teamwork.

Specifically, we need to secure a significant portion of the funds by July 12th.
