The Compliance team’s key responsibility is to ensure The Shore Group is fully complying with HMRC and Home Office Legislations and Regulations. This involves accumulating and checking a variety of specific documents including proof of address, proof of national insurance, valid and relevant skill cards and most crucially the candidates right to work document of which there are many variations.
Our processes ensure that every measure has been taken to ensure that operatives sent to site have the correct documentation, the legal right to work in UK, as well as the correct and valid qualifications to fulfil their role. Our extensive knowledge, robust processes and established systems support our compliance business requirements.
The Compliance Team is also responsible for attaining and maintaining The Shore Group’s certifications such as ISO, Achilles and Constructionline. These are designed to help us reduce risk and strengthen compliance standards and ultimately assuring clients that we consistently operate at a high level of quality and accuracy. Having these accreditations offers complete transparency that is necessary to help the businesses we work with, to trust us.
